One of the coolest events we host is back this Sunday, September 2nd at 7pm. Rival FM is the brainchild of Bay View dweller Mark Zbikowski, and is pretty interesting as far as ideas go. Home recordists (that is, people who record their own music at home, often alone as multi-instrumentalists, or with a handful of friends) submit their music through the website. Bands are welcome to participate, but the idea is to have totally unheard, unreleased songs. Then the listening party. At 7pm the Public House offers 2 for 1 drinks so you can get nice and comfy while you listen and vote on your favorite songs. Mark posts all the music here after the votes are counted up. Come join the fun.
