We’re Not Broke

USA | 2012 | 81 min | ENGLISH
Directors: Karin Hayes, Victoria Bruce
Description
We hear it from both political parties: America is broke. But what does that really mean? By funneling money to offshore accounts and finding tax-code loopholes, many major U.S. corporations are concealing colossal profits to avoid paying U.S. income tax. This probing and insightful documentary explores this problem through the eyes of US Uncut, a grassroots movement, and interviews with economists, press members, scholars, and tax analysts.
