Volunteers Needed for Locust Street Festival

While we were busy expanding hours, finalizing drink specials, and smoothing out our operations, we have also streamlined the volunteer program. With Locust Street Festival quickly approaching (June 12!!), we are in need of some community elbow grease. That means you! We will need 40-50 volunteers for this event. Sign up here.

We are doubly excited since it’s our first year on the block. Our team of volunteers represents the Riverwest Public House and will help make this year’s Locust Street Festival the best yet!

Volunteer shifts are available all day from 9:00am – 9:00pm.

Shifts are as follows:
Set-up Crew – 9-11am
Security, Member Table, Door ID – 10:45am-2pm, 1:45-5pm, and 4:45-8pm
Clean Up Crew – 8pm-9pm
(Clean-up shift is the shortest, but needs the most volunteers)

Alcohol isn’t the only thing in our blood. So is volunteering. This is a bar that exists because of the work of many volunteers.  Many of the projects and tasks of the bar are still to this day performed by volunteers. But as we have found, many hands make light work. This is a great chance to meet and work alongside some of your neighbors. Or you can even volunteer with a friend. So please join us for Locust Street Festival. Drop us a line atvolunteer@riverwestpublichouse.org to get started. There is also a sign-up sheet at the bar for the Festival. Sign up here. Thanks everyone!
