RW24 Clean-Up Party

Our neighbor Dan Mueller put together a Facebook Event called RW24 Aftermath: Clean Up Your Neighborhood

It’s going to take place throughout the neighborhood this Sunday, August 7 from 2:00pm – 7:30pm. Let’s make it a doozy. Here’s what Dan wrote:

We all know that when we party we party hard. Especially after a weekend like the last.

All I am proposing is that we take a little time to clean up after ourselves and our friends. If you live here, you know how much this small neighborhood means to us.

Here it is.
Meet outside Cafe Corazon shortly after noon and see if we have enough people to do this right.

After that start with 2-4 people on each street from Booth to Humboldt (or Weil if we don’t have as many people) and walk south from Burleigh to Meinecke. Every group of people will get 2 or 3 garbage bags. Maybe 1 for trash and 1 for recycle.

When we all reach Meinecke we can meet up near the basketball courts at Reservoir Park (Meinecke and Bremen) for a cook-out and some beers. Maybe BYOB/G? we can figure something out.

Time might change if it works better for others. Also I’ll work on getting grill-ables and beer for everyone but it’d be cool if you brought whatever is left in your fridge.

Serious RSVP’s only PLEASE. I really wanna do this but not if its gonna be a bust. If you can’t make it, no biggie.

Any other ideas or changes you think would be cool/people who would sponsor a small event like this drop a line!

Let’s do it! Get at him via the link above. And regardless of whether or not you can make it, help him get the word out! Just copy and paste:
