First thing’s first: New inventory.
Great Lakes Distillery just released their Pumpkin Spirit, of which only 1,490 bottles were made. It uses distilled Pumpkin Lager from Lakefront Brewery (which we also proudly carry). Great Lakes describe the flavor as a malty whisky with a pumpkin and spice flavor -nutmeg and clove leap out. We strongly suggest combining the Pumpkin Spirit and the Pumpkin Lager they use to make it for a Pumpkin Boilermaker on chilly autumn days like today. We’ve been excited about this spirit for weeks!
Rocky’s Revenge from Tyranena in Lake Mills, WI is an American brown ale with a portion aged in bourbon barrels. Each bourbon barrel contributes its own unique character to this rich, satisfying ale. As lovers of bourbon, we looked around a bit for a bourbon-aged ale that suited our fancy. And Rocky’s Revenge was just the ticket. The unmistakable bourbon flavor mixes perfectly with Tyranena’s fantastic craft beer. Give it a try for $4.
This Thursday 10/20
At 8pm we’re hosting a little gathering called Cooperative Connection, which is flirtation hosted by the Public House. In other words, it’s like a singles event, except we are fully inclusive of all kinds of lifestyles and preferences, as long as everyone practices consent. So in short, wash your unmentionables, find something you look good in, and head out to A Cooperative Connection:
-Meet others who like to reach concensus.
-Music and Parlor games.
-Open to members of cooperatives and those looking to join! lgbtq & straight friendly, all relationships welcome
That’s Thursday night at 8pm.
3 bands for $3
According to Harold Camping on this day God will destroy the world after his silent judgement on May 21st of this year. What do these bands have to do with that? Nothing really, but if October 21st is truly it, there’s no better place to spend the end of days than the Riverwest Public House listening to good music!
This little shindig’s getting started at the usual 9pm start time and will cost a measly 5 bucks.
We’re having a rare Sunday night show as a fundraiser. The daughter of some close friends of the pub and the community recently experienced some costly and not unfrightening medical procedures. This is an early show and fundraiser to help them out. Get Rad, Protestant and Northless. Should be about the greatest Sunday night at the Public House yet. And for a good cause, mind you. $10 bucks, punks. 100% goes to the family.
