Lone Wolf Open Mic Night

This Wednesday, November 16 we’re hosting the first Lone Wolf Open Mic Night. They’ve been around for about a year and were looking looking for a new venue, and we were happy to oblige. Come enjoy the inaugural night this Wednesday at 9:30pm.

Spelling Bee

This Thursday, November 17 at 7pm we’re hosting our very first Spelling Bee. It’s 21+ and $3 to attend. You can register at the door but get there early because we’re going to cap this baby off at 15 participants (if it goes super fast we’ll just do another one later in the evening). Tots & Tonic

Saturday, November 19th from Noon-4:00pm we’re hosting Tots & Tonic, our favorite child-friendly event. This time, it’s A Shadow Play, with Laura Klein and Steph Ponto. Parents can bring their kids (children must be accompanied by a parent) and enjoy day drinking and fun entertainment from your neighbors!

Milwaukee Zine Fest Benefit Show

Join us on November 19th for a pre-zine fest event!

Stop in from 3pm to 9pm to help us make the Milwaukee Zine Fest Program or meet up with other area zinesters to work on your own zine. FREE! We need your help!

Local Bands start at 9pm.
Behemoth & Leviathan, plants!, and Neolithics

$5 at the door. This event will be a fundraiser for Milwaukee Zine Fest.


Today we set up a live stream of the Occupy Milwaukee/Riverwest crew in garden park outside our window. Actually they set it up themselves but we helped. We’re friends with our neighbors in that way. We’re also hooking up some Occupation Appreciation seasonal style with some member-donated pies. Are you a member? Possible future member? Supporter of the occupation? Possible future supporter of the occupation? We need your pie! Bring in a Pie Tuesday November 22nd by 7pm. Open to all to sample some pie, but especially as an appreciation for those who are demonstrating in our corner of the world. It takes all kind of action to push a movement forward. All kinds of people participate in all kinds of ways. We appreciate that. Let’s all get a piece of the pie. That’s what its all about, after all right?
