Miscarriage:: Healing Through Sharing Our Stories

How common is it? Why should we tell our stories? How can we learn how to heal through the unspoken experiences? Why should we talk about it? How can we learn to hold spaces for others to heal and grieve?

SPEAKER:: Wisconsin Doulas of Color Collective

Marisa Hernandez- De Windt is a passionate Bilingual Birth Doula and enjoys working with pregnancy, birth and post- partum. She works as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Transformational Wellness Coach. Working with many clients experiencing various forms of trauma, physical and health limitations and those that are working at moving forward in their lives despite feeling stuck. Marisa is a Mother and has experienced miscarriage firsthand. Marisa is Co- Facilitator for Healing Circles and enjoys holding spaces for coversation, healing and growth.

What is The Riverwest Sessions?
Think NPR Tiny Desk meets MTV Unplugged meets VH1 Storytellers…with all local talent. Each recording date will feature 2 acts, with a 3-4 song set of stripped down, acoustic/semi-acoustic music and a short Q/A session.

The Milwaukee Shines solar group buys is a community-wide residential and commercial discount program for solar. You do not have to live in Milwaukee to participate.

Offered by the City of Milwaukee’s Enviornmental Collaboration Office (ECO) and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, home and business owners in Milwaukee, WI may participate in this program to help pool their buying power to secure significant discounts that make installing solar more affordable than ever.

The first step is to attend a Solar Power Hour, our free, one-hour information session about the program.
